I was fortunate to meet up with a chap I worked with some years ago, last Sunday. It was the first time we had seen each over since we parted ways. As well as catching up on what had been happening, we spent a couple of hours wandering around the river bank at Durham and on Palace Green where the famous and grand Durham Cathedral stands shooting images.
This monumental cross stands close to the main door of the cathedral with its famous door knocker. The day was fairly bright, with the clouds billowing across the sky giving us some dull times aswell. I had decided that I would only use my 70-200mm lens and see what I could get. All-in-all, I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and will be putting more images up over the coming days.
