Getting a bit of help

SG_DSC1890 B&WSince I have been out of photography for a while, I thought I better look for a bit of help in getting me back up to speed.  I booked onto one of the Aspire Photography Training taster days with a view to possibly doing one of their full training sessions.  It wasn’t wasted and I would recommend them to anyone looking for some training or just a bit of a refresher or even just time out !

During the session we had the services of this attractive young woman to practice on.  Poor lass she didn’t know what she was letting herself in for.  However, we did all have a good laugh from time to time which made it all the more enjoyable.

As well as a great face, she had great feet !  They didn’t smile when we asked them to though !  We took the images in the stable-yard of the Aspire offices which had some charming accessories.  We also re-located a few hundred yards from where we were out on a track in the middle of trees.  An idyllic location.

SG_DSC1935One the other aspects of the visit was having Catherine Connor chat to each one of us about what we were wanting to do with our photography and then giving us some pointers about direction and the way in which Aspire might be able to help.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it gave me plenty to think about as well as some practical ideas of how to approach what I wanted to do.  These I’ve been putting into practice and will build on them in the coming months.  I did book onto one of their full day courses, but more of that in a later post.
