Old World Charm ….

09D_10723_G2D5241 Sepia Bord01I was asked to photograph and Bed and Breakfast establishment which was part of an old property, the downstairs area had a shop on one side of the building and a café on the other.  It was a charming place in a beautiful village.  I enjoyed doing the shots, though they did present a bit of a challenge.

With this particular establishment, much of the room contents had that old world feeling, so I converted the room images to give a sepia like treatment.  I also provided the proprietor with the colour images, but they preferred the toned images.

I also tried to give a bit of a flavour of the place, which in some cases was quite tricky.  It was a very old building and the corridors and stairs were quite narrow (see stairs image below).

With it being a bit of a quirky place, I played around a bit with some of the post-processing to try to make things a bit more interesting.

I’d love to hear what you might think of these images.

If you have premises in the North East of England that you would like to have some images of for web use or producing printed materials, please get in touch for a chat about what I can do for you.
