Getting back – Portraits

There seems to have been a lot going on, one way or another, which seems to have prevented me keeping this up-to-date.  Hopefully, things are settling down a bit and I can resume getting some more images on-line.

We were lucky enough to have a couple of young ladies agree to helping build a portfolio of environmental portraits.  Laura is the young lady here.

We had intended going along a river bank to take some shots and maybe have a bit of a play around with them to create some fantasy style images.  We’d had difficulty getting the two young ladies and my diary linked.  The one day we had, it rained, was windy and cold.

16D_16065_DSC4693_ppWe were fortunate in that we were allowed to use a local church for the session.  So it wasn’t a wasted day.  The session with the girls went well.  Neither of them had done anything like this before and they were easy to work with.  We’re hoping that we might get the chance to do some more with them later in the summer and maybe we will be able to do some outside work.

I’m still looking for more models to help me with getting a bit of a portfolio together.  If you live in the Durham to Stanhope area and would be willing to have a photo session on a ‘time for prints’ basis, please get in touch – no experience necessary.
